Pilot version — pending attorney review

One page, the same for every member. Plain words.

1. Who can join

Registered estate agents with a valid Fidelity Fund certificate. We check every certificate.

2. Confidential

Everything you see on AssetBridge stays confidential and is used only for the deal in hand.

3. Blind until both say yes

Matches show an area band, size and price band only. Two agents see each other’s names only when both have said yes. Above a set price, the buyer’s agent first uploads proof of funds, which we check. The address goes to one agent, only when the seller approves a viewing. For a listing with nothing signed, the seller approves the anonymous buyer before any names are shown.

4. The fee

On a deal that follows an AssetBridge introduction, the commission is shared between the listing agency, the buyer’s agency and our registered partner agency, in the split shown when you say yes. The conveyancer pays every share on registration. Nothing is added on top of the commission the seller agreed.

5. Three-year protection

The fee is owed if the introduced buyer buys the introduced property, or any property from the introducing listing agent, within three years — on or off AssetBridge.

6. No going around

If you deal on a property held by an agent who was revealed to you here, in the same area, within 24 months, it is treated as an AssetBridge introduction unless you show otherwise.

7. Reputation and limits

Your score is built from registered deals, following through, genuine proof of funds, speed and other agents’ ratings. Limits on active briefs rise with your level. A confirmed leak, fake brief, fake listing or going around AssetBridge sets your score to zero and ends your membership; fees already owed stay owed.

8. The record

Every action on AssetBridge is recorded permanently and can’t be changed. It is the evidence in any dispute. You can see your own record. Addresses and buyer and seller names are encrypted.

9. What we don’t do

We match and record. We don’t value property, advise on price, or guarantee any buyer, seller or deal.

South African law applies. Changes are announced 30 days ahead and never affect introductions already made.
